Google Maps How-To Videos

Just playing around with Google maps. I created this one with a series of photos of a student journalism project covering the Cesar Chavez march in San Antonio. I used a Canon Power Shot with an Eye-Fi Geo-tagging card.  The Eye-Fi card is able to wireless transmit the photos to my laptop, and up to the web to places like Picasa orf Flickr.

And if you’re curious here are our student reports, shot in one day, on deadline using DV cameras, and Final Cut Pro laptops.  For the assignment I paired up students to professional video journalists, including myself.   Later I submitted the stories to our friends at Docubloggers, at the time with PBS Austin.  Here’s the result:
